Banshee

Banshees are a type of Monster born from the spirit of a deceased humanoid. They are created when someone commits suicide or otherwise dies in a state of extreme turmoil. For reasons unknown, only females can become Banshees. Like Ghosts, they can instill supernatural fear in mortals and drain the life from their victims with a mere touch. A Banshee's most potent weapon, however, is its scream, which can instantly slay any living creature who hears it. When destroyed, they leave behind a supernatural essence, which is a useful Resource for Crafting.
