Mimic

Mimics are a type of Monster created through the use of powerful magic. They are mindless things which exist only to eat and will attack any creature that comes within reach. Mimics are named for their ability to disguise themselves as desirable objects, such as banquet tables and Treasure chests, in order to lure potential prey. Most are created by mages to serve as living traps, though they are sometimes the result of failed Transmutation rituals.
