The Veil of Verity
The Veil of Verity is a series of waterfalls originating from springs high up on the central peak of the Mountains on Ophelia VII and form part of the Via Imperator. Extensive hydrological study has not been done, but the Veil is popularly supposed to be the headwaters of the River. In the absence of hydrological and geological study, the cause of the springs is neither known or understood - the presence of cold springs high on a mountain defies conventional science (there is insufficient rainfall on elevated terrain to account for the output volume of the spring). It is speculated the presence of the Crystal Vault in the peak of the mountain somehow accounts for it, but the ancient edict of the Emperor, the Via Imperator's status as a pilgrimage route and the secrecy of the Daughters of Verity have made study impossible.
