Agatha

Agatha was a powerful Cleric who died more than 300 years ago in the great battle of the Phandelver Mine. An Elf who was working as part of the original alliance in protection of the mine, she was defeated by an evil Wizard and his army horde of Orcs. Before falling, Agatha watched her wife die at the hands of an Ogre, the image of which gnaws at her soul. Bound by terrible magic, she now roams an area east of the town of Phandalin as a banshee, halfway between the Etherial and Earthly planes. She is filled with a profound grief which sometimes manifests as unbridled anger. Furious with jealousy of Sister Garaele, Agatha now tortures her and has hindered the Sister's powers to commune with the dead. Agatha haunts an old marsh just outside of Conyberry, bound for an eternity to that site.
