Cragmaw Castle

Cragmaw Castle is a crumbling fortification of significant age nestled amidst the dense foliage of Neverwinter Wood. Built centuries ago by a forgotten human kingdom as a remote outpost, it fell into ruin after enduring numerous sieges and conflicts. Eventually, the castle was claimed by the Cragmaw Clan. King Grol is keeping the location of his kingdom secret until it's rebuilt to former glory. The Wizard Iarno “Glass Staff” Albrek used spellcraft to provide maps to members of the "Black Spider" alliance with hidden paths revealed only under the light of full moon. Four such maps exist and are referred to simply as Iarno’s Map. Remnants of the original kingdom haunt every inch of the castle, which has inspired King Grol to remake his own empire in the image of great monarchies. All of King Grol's hopes and dreams for his people now rest in this location. He intends to rebuild the castle with the help of the "Black Spider" per his agreement and the Peace Treaty.
