The Grick

Native to the Neverwinter Woods, the Grick has inhabited Cragmaw Castle for at least sixty years. It was discovered by King Grol and the Cragmaw Clan when they first settled at that landmark. The Grick was responsible for the deaths of ten Goblins who failed at taming it.

Grol, however, is a lover of animals both kind and wild. He was able to calm the Grick and eventually semi-domesticated it by offering it treats and food.
On 14 Kythorn 1491 DR the Owl Friends dispatched the Grick in a pitched battle in the King's throne room.
