The city of Penkurth is nestled in the Kingdom of Wrayatora on the rocky costal shoreline. Despite the idyllic setting, the city does not have a navigable harbor, making trade routes on possible via land. Penkurth is know for it's gem mining and trading. The city itself is divided into 21 separate districts.
The Dunheight & Regdeli Districts
Penkurth is divided into distinct cultural and commercial districts which are separated by the picturesque cobblestone streets. The Dunheight & Regdeli districts are the more affluent parts of Penkurth, populated by nobility and merchants. The towering castle of Lord Cobus overlooks the city from the South district, watching over the city with a protective gaze.
The Bulwark Scribe District
Further east of the main city lies the Bulwark Scribe district, the least affluent and most diverse area of Penkurth. The Bulwark Scribe district is home to smugglers coming and going and local fishermen catching fish to sell throughout the city. Since there is no harbor smugglers and fisherman must brave the cliffs to get to their boats moored away from jagged shoreline.
Wesyke or Market District
In the western part of the walled city lies the Market District, the bustling hub for commerce and trade. Here, traders come from
Rothevon and
Fogvein Hold & Harbor to exchange wares. The cobbled streets are alive with merchants hawking their wares, from exotic spices from far away lands, to fine silk cloth from the south.
