Old One-Eye

"Ne'er ye wander from the paths the Hunter's blaze
For fear of falling 'neath Old One-Eye's gaze"
- Silverpass children's rhyme
Old One-Eye is a creature of Silverpass folklore said to haunt the deepest regions of the Silverwood and eat wayward travelers who venture too far from the trails. Descriptions of the creature have varied greatly but as the name suggests they all agree that the creature has a singular eye. Some depictions of Old One-Eye portray a crazed and haggard wild-man who has lost one of his eyes, while another describes a gaunt cyclopean creature standing near ten feet tall.

In reality, you've discovered that Old One-Eye is a reclusive and secretive mage named Sepiks who has carved out a lair in the base of Argent Peak, protected by various enchantments and illusions.   Sepiks' appearance is unknown as they don a magic cloak and hood that fully obfuscates their face and they keep their hands and feet fully concealed under wraps and layers of fabric, giving him the appearance of some form of spectral entity such as a wraith.
Accompanied by his two loyal mimics Hocus and Pocus, you learned that Sepiks has long been a purveyor of various magic items, trading such arcane baubles with those he deems worthy. Notably, the Artene Syndicate had frequently ventured into the Silverwood to purchase items from Sepiks.

Sepik's lair was overrun and destroyed by the brood of Helmogog during the Big-Bad-Spidertimes of 2021. Currently, he occupies Redwind Tower as a guest of the Order of the Argent.   Sepik's history is almost entirely unknown, though he has made mention of touring the Unterrealm at some point during his life alongside his mentor. Sepiks appears to have a great breadth of knowledge of history, occult lore, and arcana.
