Edrion
Edrion, home of some of the brightest minds of our generation. Edrion is located near the northwestern part of Sioa, bordering with Ironclaw and neighboring Hestoria, Tandor and Arinthia. Edrion is an interesting place by many accounts, but it's most prominent one would be the fact it is home to the biggest and most influential magic school in the entire Realm: Sanctum, Coven of Arcane Studies. Despite its name, Sanctum is anything but exclusive. Many people from all around Milnir travel to Sanctum in order to become practitioners of the Arcane Arts. Magister Pelusious Witherbloom, founder and Head of Sanctum and leader of Edrion, is well respected and looked up to by many. With a graduation rate of 97.8%, Sanctum stands strong as a pilar of arcane prowess and progress.
Edrion maintains their economy through normal means of farming and trading, but their main source of income is the production of spell scrolls and potions. Sanctum covers mystical alchemy and brewery, and Edrion distributes many of the more commonplace supplies many adventurers use, such as healing potions. Without their spellscroll production and distribution, it'd be harder to infuse Arcanotech with the right runes, making them a vital part of Sioa's system.
An interesting trait of Edrion is that due to Sanctum's arcane energy, due to the hundreds of magic users all together in one place, the land around them has shifted and morphed, giving way to strange and wonderous new fauna. If one wishes to see strange new animals and phenomena, a trip to Edrion might be right for you.
