Icefire Wastes
A vast tundra that is both bitterly cold and rife with volcanic activity. The Icefire Giant Tribe resides in its territory, somehow being able to harness the powers of both fire and ice and being resistant to both. Their leader, Aekthos Uttir, looks over most of their kind upon their lands and attempts to expand their territory, which has caused much fighting between the neighboring tribes.
Since their territory encompases the entry point between Hashlan and Halsar, the Icefire's territory is a big hurdle any who wish to enter Halsar must go through. However, as wild and marauding as their people may be, the Icefire Giants have elected to open trade routes with Sioa to profit from their positional advantage, although this is not to say some members of the territory don't take the opportunity to rob and enslave travelling merchants that they deem "unworthy".
