Spellscribe
Like a conductor wielding a baton, the Spellscribe does not invoke their own aether to summon impressive displays of pyrotechnics, but relies on the careful orchestration of the ambient aether to bring ruin and utility in equal measure.

History
Originally a highly specialized branch of elementalism revolving around the usage of Glyphs, Spellscribing further diverged from its inspiration by applying the mastery of the arcane to creating highly repeatable incantations which can be applied to more scenarios than simply combat.
Simplified further by not requiring the use of internal aether of a caster, Spellscribes are capable of casting incantations without exhausting themselves. This aspect of the profession allows the otherwise slow-to-act school of spellcraft to win battles of attrition or invoke extreme firepower without draining their own reserves.
As a profession centered around memorization of complex aetheric patterns, there is very little room for improvisation when it comes to its spellcraft. The need to learn a varied set of incantations to survive most combat scenarios wards off those who would otherwise welcome its potential for mass destruction.

Dangers & Hazards
Lack of a steady hand and steely determination to fully scribe a pattern even when under life-threatening danger can cause a caster to suffer heavy losses in battle.
