Session 10 - Magehold Report
General Summary
Session started with Thupyaf and Diira in a square in the Wall Market district, with the temple cat automaton chained up in the center of the square. The two adventurers recruited some local residents to help them disguise the cat as a parade float and bring it back to temple complex, which the automaton had recently destroyed. Magehold was in the middle of celebrating a minor festival, so the locals were agreeable. Thupyaf befriended two ash sweepers named Maegrat and Leefa - two older women who are happy to gossip with him.
The crowd arrived at the damaged temple and Thupyaf and Diira used the confusion to sneak in and retrieve the steam core that they had left there previously. They brought the steam core back to the cat, who introduced herself as the spirit of Vaelrin, the hag that the party had encountered on their first adventure.
The Safehouse
Diira, Thupyaf, and Vaelrin made their way to the edge of town, where they found an abandoned shed that the party could use as a future base camp. There was Marsh Wyrm guarding the shack. Diira and Thupyaf drove away the marsh wyrm and left Vaelrin in charge of guarding the base camp.
