The apprentice of the elven man Wren found the day her quest began. She said that she is from a village in the Feywild that was stuck there during the Realignment; their people have been in danger from a group of hags known as the Hourglass Coven, who are kidnapping people and spreading dark magics throughout the land. She, following her teacher, were sent to search for Nimhue, the Lady of the Lake, a powerful archfey who went missing after the Realignment; the Coven seems obsessed with finding her, and so Alira's people want to get to her first and convince her to stand against the Coven. When they could not find Nimhue in the Feywild, they went searching for a crossing into the Material Plane-- eventually finding one that led them into the Ardenwood, not far from to Wren's home.
Alira is tough, stoic and rather intense; Wren has not seen her shed a tear for her former teacher since they met. She seems doubtful of Wren's abilities, although she has been relaxing a bit upon seeing how dedicated Wren is to finding the Lady of the Lake and solving the mystery of her pendant.
