Owner and fight organizer of Another Round!; a higher-ranking member of the Requisition who based in the town of Nightcrest. The extent of his business dealings are unclear, but he seems to have a few Nightcrest students under his employ (specifically the twins Ernesto and Ellasara Fox, and more recently Alecto Yatari).
After a group of outlaws (mistakenly) attacked the group in an attempt to capture and ransom Fitzwilliam Wildemere, the party found themselves at odds with Fain and his men; Lucretia Ambrose gained an audience with him and tried to leverage her connection to trick Fain into leading his men into a trap. However, the plan backfired and Lucretia ended up being held hostage while the rest of the party did battle with the twins and a gang of Fain's thugs. The party prevailed and Lucretia was rescued by her father Alistair, who seemed to know Fain personally; it was later revealed that as a practitioner of dark magic, Alistair has out of necessity had dealings with Fain and the Requisition.
