House Amberheart

House Amberheart earned its status of as a High House by being one of the first families to have ever settled in the Blacksmoke Mountains; the ancestors of the House were among those who built the mountain city of Embereth. Geographically removed from other Houses, Lord Shadys Amberheart is nonetheless politically active and has maintained positive relations with most other High Houses. Perhaps the sole exception is House Wildemere, which is House Amberheart's main competitor as in terms of resources and economic status; Embereth is a city of many trade guilds and mining exports, but of late House Wildemere has been able to drive hard bargains for resources not available in House Amberheart's harsh mountain domain. 
Of note, many members of this House are often active in their city outside of House Amberheart’s seat of power, participating in events or working directly with guilds throughout the city. This has earned them the respect and loyalty of many common folk within the city of Embereth, who would defend the House to the last-- something that cannot be said so easily for many of the other High Houses.
House Amberheart's crest is a snowy owlbear, framed by the blacks and reds of a bubbling volcano.
