Embereth

A partially subterranean city nestled deep at the base of the Blacksmoke Mountain’s last known active volcano, Embereth is the singular major settlement in this realm. A variety of individuals are attracted to this otherwise remote location; some come looking for treasure, others to harvest the unique minerals the volcanic mountains produce, and others still to simply escape the social complexities of the other realms. Trade guilds make up the fabric of society in Embereth, and the only metric one is judged by is their work ethic; if you are willing to work in dangerous conditions and do your part to keep the city safe, you will be taken in by one guild or another. Overseeing all this is Lord Shadys Amberheart, whose family was among those that originally built the city of Embereth– and one of the only families to call this harsh land their ancestral home.
