A sorcerer, but does not use her abilities; wears an enchanted gauntlet to prevent her from casting spells. Has revealed that she has a mysterious disease that is greatly worsened when she uses her magic. Also has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the arcane, which more than qualifies her for her position. Has only taught at Nightcrest for a few years.
During Spring 1088, Claudia D'hal became the advisor of the party (the Revelers around this time Oliver confides in her regarding his magical studies, which she not only keeps secret but encourages upon the condition that she oversee his training. In a similar vein, she oversees Lucretia's progress as they study time magic and branch away from traditional magics.
The party has learned during this more recent time that Claudia arrived in Raen'dor through a Feywild crossing, and that she comes from a faraway part of the world that was completely inaccessible before the Realignment.
