The rise of Avinia

Founding

Avinia was an empire that comprised of the hooked arm of Taifar's mainland, with Caelora as its capitol. It eventually expanded to include the north-eastern part of Taifar as well.

Avinia was a nation primarily of elves (sea-elves in particular) and some genasi. The Old Faith was first recognized and practiced here. The empire was a monarchy and ruled by the Illorel family. The Illorel were a family of devout sea-elves that had a hand in founding Caelora and keeping its borders safe.
Their culture revolved around strong family ties, so Ai'michi was one of the most frequently prayed to gods in Avinia.
