Away in a pocket dimension, a sword glows with five sigils. A gate, a mask, a tree, a smithy, and a shield. The spawn of darkness stare at the glowing sword strangely, the only light in this dark cavern.
In the material plane, a hole is ripped in reality. A giant vortex opens up, sucking in water as thousands of strange creatures pour out. Behind them, a giant tentacled beast can be seen. Four parts of its body are forcefully ripped off of it and carried through the vortex by its children. That is Dreus, the forgotten Titanite.
