Unkown to history, a man named Kayde Threeflame stabs a woman, infecting her with the warp touch. Due to the strong energies in the area, she quickly mutates into a warp spawn and begins terrorizing the city. She somehow begins infecting others at a rapid rate, spreading the mutation throughout the city. After days of fighting and trying to rid it, the Flaming Fist are overrun. Ulder Ravenguard, the High Duke of the city and head of the Flaming Fist goes missing with a squad of soldiers and a woman he supposedly had an affair with. Shortly after, a mutated humanoid and the original infected woman, go throughout the city, infecting and killing anyone they run into. The last words everyone hears being, "I love my family."
