Waterdeep is taken in a siege of the city and occupied by strange creatures and men from a far away land.
Dreus’ rise from Forgotten God to emperor
In the years of the 15's a gateway will appear. Along The Cutting coast lies the dock of entry. The Covenant of barons shall rule, through their masks and robes. The anchors are located within the cities: of doors, the lake of depth, the human conversions of the dwarves and the elves, and the land where it is always summer. Strife, both internal and external, shall be caused bringing about a cabal of generals. Dreus will return if the 1500 shall fall to power each key. Always remember, the men and women must fall next to the warp of reality.
Waterdeep is taken in a siege of the city and occupied by strange creatures and men from a far away land.
Unkown to history, a man named Kayde Threeflame stabs a woman, infecting her with the warp touch. Due to the strong energies in the area, she quickly mutates into a warp spawn and begins terrorizing the city. She somehow begins infecting others at a rapid rate, spreading the mutation throughout the city. After days of fighting and trying to rid it, the Flaming Fist are overrun. Ulder Ravenguard, the High Duke of the city and head of the Flaming Fist goes missing with a squad of soldiers and a woman he supposedly had an affair with. Shortly after, a mutated humanoid and the original infected woman, go throughout the city, infecting and killing anyone they run into. The last words everyone hears being, "I love my family."
The Olympians, the adventuring party carrying the blade destined to kill Dreus are defeated by a group of hags in Fort Morninglord.
During the Claw of the Storms, Silverymoon reported that people started growing mushrooms out of them. This rapidly became a major issue, killing some people off due to it, but mostly, the diseased seemed to only maim and exhaust its victims. This was a major issue that is still fought to this day.
Members of the Titans that seemed to be unimpeded by disease surged into the city while they prepared for Midsummer. Although the soldiers of Silverymoon were more skilled and numerous than the invaders, they had been greatly weakened by the plague that still racked the city. With this decisive advantage, the Titans managed to gain control of the plagued city.
The forces of Dreus attacked on all sides. Titans attacked from the land, their crazed dwarven allies with them. Meanwhile, duergar attacked from beneath. This led to a quick capitulation after no strong members remained to stop the Titans. This marks the final note in the Lord's Alliance, although, they would still continue to attempt to operate for many more years.
At this time, the cities were all ready. A piece of the warp was brought to each city. Hundreds of the citizens herded together. Then, all of them slaughtered, their deaths powering the warp. As each city opened their anchor, the hole over the ocean grew and grew and grew. Until finally, one could look out and see into an inky blackness of time and space. From beyond, people swear they saw something before what happened next. The sky shook, storms raged along the coast, and thousands upon thousands of strange Dreus Spawn fell into the ocean and fought to make it onto land. Meanwhile, Dreus had sent out his entities, searching for their Avatars.
For many years after the summoning, the Titans blamed each other for the failure in properly summoning Dreus. The Destroyers and the Destiny remained together, believing their bloodlines untainted by the coastal peoples and remaining loyal to the avatars of Dreus, signs that they must wait for a future time to succeed. They remained in the North protecting their lands whilst fighting against the Debaucherous and the Diseased who all kept their own distinct lands. During this time, the two Northern factions despised the avatars of the other two, a sea elf that they believed had no right to receive Dreus' glory, and a girl from the coast of inferior blood.
The disorganized attacks on Elturel proved to the groups that they were too busy fighting themselves to possibly succeed in this fight. The Daughter of Disease managed to contact the others and show what she had built in Waterdeep. She offered the Debaucherous major control over the city, and they decided to take it. She showed the might of it to the Destroyers, and having already reasoned with Destiny of how it was on their side, Valkur gave in and the war between the factions ended. However, they would still remain untrusting and unhelpful to each other for many more years, but they now had a truce among them.
