FERA Credit
Used as the De Facto currency in FERA Guilds around the world, FERA credit is a representation of one's deeds in service of the FERA guild. A running total is kept on the badge in terms of what has been acquired and is used to determine standing among the FERA members. Even if it is spent, a total of all FERA credit acquired is still kept for bragging rights.
Additionally, members can purchase goods, services and materials at any location that accepts FERA credit (Most establishments will as FERA credit can be exchanged 1 for 1 with gold pieces at any major city and moving the magical representation of gold is much easier than coins.
For FERA members, the record of your FERA credit is stored on their badges. For a time, this led to parties attempting to steal tags from FERA members. A magical record was created to ensure that only the owner of the badge can use the badge for purchasing services or goods.
Additionally, in the event of a deceased adventurer's tags being recovered, it is customary that the next of kin will receive their credit, less a finder's fee - customarily 10%, but it can vary depending on the generosity of the next of kin.
