Dorgoil Palace
This incredibly large fort was built by a member of an ancient noble house within living memory, and is fair; the castle has seen better days. As you approach, a hare dashes about, seemingly lost, unaware how to escape the confines of the castle.
It is known for the quality of its meals, and is worth defending because the surrounding land is excellent for grazing livestock. The castle needs assistance divining the potential wealth of an ore vein nearby.
Defences:
Its outer walls are defended by caged war dogs, and the lands it encompasses are mostly tied up with buildings; there are plenty of spaces, but none very large that aren't already being used.
The fort's inner walls feature a wide courtyard surrounded by flanking towers in the curtain wall, protecting the castle itself, which is massive, even for a castle; there are hundreds of rooms, more than enough to get lost in.
Dungeon:
The jail located in a tower set apart from the main castle is known as Burana's Jail, and was built long before most of the castle.
It is known for the quality of its meals, and consists of organized into small, neat rows of cells or pits. It is rumoured that hidden inside the dungeon is a famous jewel by a notorious prisoner.
Cells:
The cells inside the dungeon are decrepit; the walls are crumbling, and prisoners are kept in a large chamber with many other prisoners, each shackled to the wall.
Prisoners of Dorgoil Palace are treated like rats; they receive terrible meals and are plagued by sickness. The jailer, Philomena Thistletop, is a haunted woman who applied to job to ultimately free their lover, only for them to die before she had the chance.
