Chapter 1: Lady Taafe Rings a Bell

General Summary

When Oswald gets back to Malfa with his great new sea hair, Nykomin sends for him. She tells him that since the other two members of the Fun Bunch are already upriver, she wants Oswald to join them. She wants to know if the restless-dead phenomenon has extended that far, and she also wants to know why Tjeli has gone up into the Forges. Tjeli told Nykomin she had “a lead on something” but didn’t say what. Nor does Nykomin tell Oswald whatever suspicions or worries she might have.
We join our heroes as they all meet again at, let’s say, Mossevel’s cabin. Jabom has heard of a situation he thinks you'd be interested in.
