the Bottle

The Bottle is a high tarn overlooking the much bigger lake of Aven Crum. A narrow cascade falls from the bottle to Aven Crum. Tarns are usually rain lakes but the fact that the Bottle's cascade never seems to run dry means it might be fed from an underground water source.
The village of Glannock sits between the Bottle and the cliff overlooking Aven Crum. There is a boat dock on the Bottle, but no boat any more. Behind the Bottle is the steep slope of the Crommog.
There are three tall standing rocks in the water at the far side of the Bottle, one much larger than the others. These are called the Fells; the three individual rocks are called the Frog, the Cap, and the Hand.
