The Sea Wall

The Sea Wall is a massive fortified wall built directly into the ocean—taking advantage of a submerged rock shelf, but also built between massive constructed stone piles. It faces southwest, protecting the Malfa Lighthouse and the entry to Malfa's harbor from both weather and enemies.
The Sea Wall was built at least 200 years ago—probably earlier, as a reaction to the Malfa War. No enemy has come close enough for the Sea Wall to be active as a defense since the last of the wars with the Sea Kings, decades ago. It is, unlike most Maveren infrastructure projects, kept in good repair, and is generally manned—though lightly these days—by pickets from Maveren Houses, who rotate the duty amongst themselves.
