Usmid Massif
The Usmid Massif is an enormous range of highlands and mountains that cuts across the northern end of the continent of Findere. It cuts off the countries on the northern tip of the continent from the wealthier, more populous countries to the south. (The Massif is inspired by the Himalayas, but it performs the same societal-geological function as the Safari). The Massif is populated by various peoples, mostly in small communities that are often semi-nomadic. Humans are in the minority amongst these peoples. One of the most famous areas in the Massif is Mrassa, a high cold desert region of plains and valleys occupied by, among others, the nuns of Paratti, who are famous for their divinations. The Paratti nuns are tabaxi, as are most of the inhabitants of Mrassa.
