Heir to a noble house of Avacii, Fabia lost her father and siblings in the fall of Waxwing. Then came the vultures came, governments seizing her international holdings, peers to contest her claims to inheritance and call in illegitimate debts. She fought them, one and all, but lost more than she won - in the end she fled with what remaining assets she could lay claim to and joined in with the others to form Sigrun.
Fabia was lost in the new world for a year before returning to Sigrun, much to the shock of her compatriots. She doesn't speak of her time in the jungles, but she has since shown an undying hatred for the Snakekin that inhabit it, and a merciless distate even for the peaceful races that have spoken with the settlers.
Fabia has inherited the significant claims of
Dulcinea Guivel in Hampsterdam and has been using what she has gained to prepare an expedition to the Swamps seeking her lost friends

Her Story
"I... we... were betrayed, by one of our own, or so I thought. Taken by the Snake men, the Yuan-Ti they call themselves, that inhabit the swamps east of Sigrun. I could not understand how one of us could work for these creatures, but i learned the truth in the pits beneath their grand temple, a stinking pit of mire-soaked filth situated atop a crumbling stone ruin. There they... somehow... can take the form of one of us. Not all of us, that's what I could understand from what they were doing, there's something about us, they took our blood, over and over, so many times I was perpetually weakened. Some of us they would then come and take, to where at the time I was blissfully unaware. Others they would feed strange concotions too, of a thousand colors - people would not drink and then, there would be a different snake creature with a massive hooded spread beyond its skull, it would... lull us... it would be hard to think, and you just felt that ... you should obey."
"Before I escaped I saw what happened to some, not all, of us.... their were pools, hundreds of them, filled with the mire of the swamp, but at the height there was another smaller pool surrounded by apparati and sigils... It was filled, I saw it being filled... with blood, with... shredded pieces of my companions... and the serpents, some of them were almost human, would bath in it, and come out... looking like the man drained into it. It was horrendous"
"I escaped by pretending to be hypnotized when I was not, they were sluggish when winter came, they crowded in their warm pools and left the temple above almost empty. I slipped away during a snowstorm and made it back to Sigrun."
