Born in Sleeper's Forge, the eighth district of Mhiilamniir, Kaylee is the third child of local council representative Neera Moonfire and Tristan of Argive. A rebellious and feisty woman from a young age who found her talent in archery, she is an officer in the Mhiilamniir militia, a veteran of the Battle of Mhiilamniir, and a journeyman Bowyer affiliated with the Bowmasters of Mhiilamniir. She currently resides in the Bowmaster's Commerce Ward store in Mhiilamniir itself with her wife of two years, Ayda yi Keltar.

Kaylee Alaya Moonfire was born on the 25th Tarsakh 1375 RH, in Sleeper's Forge, Mhiilamniir, to half-elf mother Neera Moonfire and human father Tristan of Argive. She is the third child of five, and twin to her brother Davin Moonfire, who was born five minutes before Kaylee was.
