Nimbus

Nimbus is the ship's cat on board The Dawnscythe. He was a stray who stowed away on board while the ship was docked at Brassica, visiting Leon Varindra's family for the annual Festival of Winds. Assuming he was the cat of the captain's niece - Sparrow Varindra - the crew, and Agga in particular, took meticulous care of the cat until their next visit, when they discovered that he had no connection with Sparrow.
With the cat having become a comforting and familiar sight around the Dawnscythe by this point, the crew named him Nimbus and he has been a beloved mascot for the ship ever since.
