Captain Leon Varindra
Skyfarer and captain of The Dawnscythe, Leon Varindra is an individual toughened by his years in the skies, but still caring and intensely loyal to both his found family and his blood relatives.
Leon Varindra was the firstborn of Meika and Tonzir Varindra. He never showed an interest in boat carving, instead feeling an instinctive draw to the seas and skies. One evening he stumbled across relics of his mother's past, discovering her history as a pirate. Realising his heritage was calling him to adventure, he took to the skies, joining up with the Stormbreakers, and eventually rising thruogh the ranks to captain a ship of his own.
After his third niece, Sparrow, began to show tendencies towards following in his footsteps, and with piracy becoming more dangerous with the zealous persecution of the Skyknights, Leon left the Stormbreakers and became a legitimate captain with the Skyfarer's Guild, hoping to set a good example for Sparrow to follow.
Despite going straight, he still has both contacts and a reputation amongst the pirate factions - both positive and negative.
