The Enchanted Defender and Resolute Indomitable Companion - or T.E.D.R.I.C. for short - is an automaton purchased by Valeria Livia to safeguard her daughter Barbara Livia while she was away at The Nexus Laboratory. In addition to being Barbara's caretaker, T.E.D.R.I.C. became her closest childhood friend, with the two rarely being seen apart.
Following the deaths of Barbara's parents, T.E.D.R.I.C. fled with her to The Fey Realm to keep her safe, and has stayed resolutely by her side ever since, even as their gears and joints begin to suffer in the Fey Realm's strange environment.
