Iron

Hard metal mined from the earth.
Mined primarily in Devil's Den. though found in small quantities in Slag Point.
Due to the ease at which iron rusts in the cloudy skies, it's used mostly in alloys.
Darksteel is an alloy used in construction of Iron and Sludge (a byproduct of used Slag). It's essentially steel - hard, tough, and heavy. Brightsteel is a lightweight alloy (though far more expensive) between Gold and iron, used in lighter-weight materials like personal armor, expensive weaponry, or ship parts.
