Alfred Proudfoot
Alfred Proudfoot was born in 2174 to a family of British explorers who had moved to Jupiter in search of new opportunities. He was a brave and ambitious young man, and he quickly moved up the ranks in the exploration industry. Alfred Proudfoot signed up to the Jovian exploration programme in 2204 and was responsible for laying claim to several hundred asteroids which later went on to become thriving mining colonies.
In 2205, he met and later married Cécile Tanaka, and together they had three daughters, Sabine, Astrid, and Odette. Alfred and his wife Cécile lived aboard their ship the 'Bellerophon' for several decades, sending their three daughters, Sabine, Astrid, and Odette, to a boarding school on Ganymede.
In 2233, Freddie was wounded while defending one of the early mining colonies from pirates, he later died due to complications from an injury. His wife and three daughters survived him.
