Astrid Turner

Astrid Turner- Tanaka

Astrid Turner was born in 2208 to the asteroid explorer Alfred (Freddie) Proudfoot his wife, Cécile Tanaka. Astrid spent her early years on board the Bellerophon with her parents before being sent to a prestigious boarding school on Ganymede, the largest and most established Jovian colony. She studied at the prestigious University of Jupiter and was later granted citizenship of the Jovian Alliance. After her father's death in 2233, she and her sisters inherited enough money to purchase a home on the new 'model colonies' on Io, being built as part of the most significant Jovian expansion in decades.
Astrid met and married a fellow migrant to Jupiter, James Turner, in 2235 and together they had two children, Aya and Luke. In 2240, a devastating quake hit the Io colony, killing many of the citizens within the Eden sphere.
