The Sprouts
The Sprouts are a rough associated set of street gangs active throughout Edge City. Unlike most gangs, who concern themselves with various illicit trades, the Sprouts fight to secure community gardens and green spaces for the local communities.
It would be a mistake to take this kindness for weakness though, as the Sprouts tend to be heavily armed and fanatical to their cause. Their doctrine seems to promote a swift and violent response to any violation of their protected turf. Their willingness to bleed for their cause have garnered them significant respect from the larger gangs, who leave them alone due to a lack of overlapping interests.
The Spouts often mark their turf with a green tree tag, with the letters GG within, a tribute to the Green Goliath.
