Althea Green is the captain of the Werner St Sprouts, one of the more notorious of the ecogangs in Edge City.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Green is tall and lanky, but physically fit with well defined muscles. She is well trained with both martial arts and firearms, and is known to always be packing.
Facial Features
Althea shows the bruising around the eyes common to those with Saunter's Syndrome, though she tries to hide this with wild and colorful makeup.
Special abilities
Althea is shifted with the ability to produce rapid plant growth. She can grow a small tree from a seed to a sapling in a matter of minutes. If allowed to spend hours in a space, she can cover it in vines and weeds. She often uses this ability to create popup green spaces on roof tops and small green spaces in empty lots. These things do not last for long in the pollution ridden city.

Althea moved to Edge City when she was nine, her solo parenting father looking to get the girl treatment for Saunter's Syndrome. He passed away shortly after, and she found herself at the Saint Anastasia Orphanage and School. She only spent a few years there before leaving to run wild on the streets. She quickly found purchase with the Sprouts, who represented her political ideals, but whom she felt didn't go far enough. Her Shifted abilities took them from backroom activitists to fanatical ecoterrorists in a matter of years.
Morality & Philosophy
Clinging to a rigid moral code she believes was passed on by her mother, Althea is firm in the belief that all that ailes society is due to their separation from nature. Reconnecting will fix these problems, and thus this should be pursued by any means necessary.

Althea claims to be the daughter of the Green Goliath, though can offer no proof. Many of her gang play this down, and think this is likely metaphorical. She is serious about the matter, and her abilities do give this statement some credence.
Althea once had an older brother named Remy, who passed away at a very young age from complications related Saunder's syndrome.
Religious Views
Althea is a practicing member of the Illuminated Church of the Golden Sun, but believes the church doesn't go far enough in ecological matters.
