Armvíðir (arm-vith-er)
Armvíðir (arm-vith-er) is an collection of petty kingdoms in control of numerous swaths of land and islands in the Armvíðic Gulf. The Gulf of Armvíðir, called Grunn Sævi or the Shallow Sea, was formed during the Sundering, during which the mountainous and hill-land terrain sunk down and were engulfed by the sea, and as such, the many islands within the Grunn Sævi were once the summits of hills and mountains.
The eastern reaches of the Armvíðic mainland mainly consists of the the plains and woodlands that stretch to the Greneburg Mountains, beyond which is Ælnea. The kingdoms are thalassocratic, their territories scattered across the isles of the Gulf and beyond into the Carnnui Ocean, and hence harbors one of the most powerful navies in the world, though even this does not prevent piracy in the more fringe islands under Armvíðic dominion.
