Dimitri Velaea Oredelver (a.k.a. Meech)
Dimitri "Meech" Velaea Oredelver is a half-elf and the youngest adopted child of the Hero of Saltmarsh Mogran Oredelver and the younger biological sibling of his sister Naomi.
History
Dimitri Velaea was born in ruined city of the Styes in Ches of 1502 to a human father and elven mother. He and his older sister Naomi were abandoned in 1505, when their father died and their mother determined she couldn't take care of them, and Dimitri and Naomi were sent to a poorly run orphanage in the city. In 1507, shortly after returning from a trip to the Elemental Plane of Fire, one of the Heroes of Saltmarsh, Mogran Oredelver, was passing through the Styes again. While there, Mogran found Naomi and Dimitri and adopted them, much in the same way that he adopted his oldest child, the green dragonborn Erig, a decade earlier. The Velaea siblings were brought with Mogran to be raised in Neverwinter, adopting the Oredelver last name but deciding against closely tying themselves to Mogran's dwarven clan, Clan Velgrund, as they strongly identified with with half-elf lineage. Regardless, Dimitri quickly grew to love Mogran like a father and Erig like a brother, something that concerned the initially more guarded Naomi, though over the years Naomi too would care for Mogran, just not as a father. In 1517, the Oredelver family attended 97th Annual Tournament of Ki in support of Mogran's friend and fellow Hero of Saltmarsh, Lyra. During the Liberation of Nettlemurk Hall in 1547, Dimitri stayed behind in Neverwinter, having made that city his home.Personality Characteristics

Dimitri is an avoid follower of jockey racing and bonded greatly with his adopted father Mogran on their many days spent at the Neverwinter racetrack.
