Lonnie
Lonnie is a a
human woman in
the Styes, an assistant to
Father Refrum and a former prostitute and "wife" of Captain
Sigurd "Snake Eyes".
History
Sometime prior to 1496, Lonnie began working at the Velvet Glove as a prostitute in
the Styes. While there, she became infatuated with a client, Captain
Sigurd "Snake Eyes", who eventually asked for her hand in "marriage," though Lonnie was unaware of the various other "wives"
Sigurd had.
In Flamerule of 1496, Lonnie was captured by a group of thugs working for
Sliris, demanding she pay up debts
Sigurd owed to them. However, she was saved by the future
Heroes of Saltmarsh. The adventurers lied about
Sigurd's fate, claiming he was alive. In exchange for her rescue, Lonnie told the
heroes what she knew about the weapon smuggling
Sigurd was engaged in.
Knowing that it was unsafe to return to her place of work, Lonnie found refuge with
Father Refrum, a priest of Ilmater who was known to help those who needed it.
Refrum gave Lonnie a place to stay and eventually a place to work, as Lonnie took over as one of
Refrum's main assistants.
