Vault of the Sages

The Vault of the Sages is a massive tree and library located in the middle of Silverymoon. While the lower levels are available to the public, the vault grows increasingly more secure the higher one goes. The top floors are totally secured, used to hold rare artifacts, such as the Book of Draconic Rituals.
In 1492, the Vault was the site of a competing break-in between the adventuring parties of the Breadwinners and the Reverse Funnel System, the former working for the Council of Waterdeep and the later being hired by the Cult of the Dragon. Both groups were aiming to steal the Book of Draconic Rituals, which the Breadwinners ultimately recovered.
