Dr Nathaniel Richards (a.k.a. He Who Waits)
A multiversal variant of Nate Richards, and the first Nate Richards to discover the existance of the Multiverse.
At some unknown point, he began travelling the universe, eventually becoming embroiled in a multiversal war between his variants.
Seeing the damage that was being done by their war, he used Alioth to end the war, and then created the Time Variance Authority to ensure nothing of the sort could happen again.
He was murdered by one of his own duplicates, the teenage Nathan Richards.
