Mind Maggots
A species of magical parasite, native to the Archipelago of Anguish and Redemption.
They feed on the psychic energy of their host, and are particularly attracted to those burdened with guilt or secrets.
When feeding on a host, they are visible to the host and Magic Users. When not feeding, they can be seen only by training Magic Users, and are notoriously hard to detect.
