Sacrosanct
Sacrosanct, formerly Deneb-65, is the current Throneworld of the Universal Church of Truth.
The church began establishing a presence on the planet in the 1980s, after the Matriarch prophesied that the Magus, a prophesied figure in their beliefs, would die and be reborn on the 65th planet from the sun.
After an extensive search, Deneb-65 was found to be the only 65th planet in the Milky Way with an atmosphere suitable for most sapients, and therefore capable of supporting the church. After growing their following on the planet, and urging church members to take jobs which gave them political power, the church staged what the Matriarch termed the 'pilgrimage', and which intergalactic observers described as an invasion.
Following this take-over, the practise of other religions were initially supressed, before being outright banned, a church High Inquisitor was placed in control of governance, and the planet was renamed to Sacrosanct.
Tourism
As the center of one of the fastest growing religions in the universe, Sacrosanct recieves tens of millions of pilgrims and new immigrants every year.
