The Dard'van Sect send a messenger to Ryas, to tell the native Druffs that their god has not returned to them, which would have had devestating conquences, restarting the overpopulation problem which had nearly led to the extinction of their species.
Carol Danvers, at the request of Talos, tracks the messanger and intervenes, preventing them from delivering their message to Ryas.
