Archeological finds in the Backward Galaxy (NGC 4622) found Lonsdaleite carvings from the Viscardi civiliasion, which is believed to depict the legend of the Nine. Many believe that the legend depicts a historial event in Viscardi history.
According to the legend, a Celestial Host visited the planet. Nine of the inhabitants attempted to stand against them using an artefact stolen from the Celestials (usually believed to be the Power Stone), but they were overwhealmed but its power and burned up.
Sources disagree as to whether they successfully repelled the Celestial Host before dying, but the existence of the carving suggests they did.
