Guard Bot
These bots are quite similar to the Host Bot model in the civilian part of Aeolus City Space Port, with the exception that the chest plate of the Guard Bots are green, to make it clear that they are military bots. The guard bots are also armed, unlike the Host Bots.
When first issued the Guard Bots were armed with a version of the Alpha 79 “Flintlock” Plasma Pistol, that only differed from the handheld version in that the grip had been removed. The weapon was still a single shot pistol. In 2940, shortly before the Clear Corporation went out of business, the Flintlock pistols on the bots were replaced by a grip less version of the Clear Negotiator. Some people at the Clear Corporation tried to argue the point that the bots didn’t need a weapon with a “Hair Dryer” setting, and that this feature should be excluded from the weapons mounted on the bots. However, Jeremiah Clear insisted that the weapon should be exactly the same on the bots as that which would shortly be issued to the service personnel of the Trident Coalition Armed Forces. He was unaware of the fatal flaw in the weapon that would in a few days claim the life of his nephew, Tim Farnsworth.
