Worley Harper
Harley Calvin Williamson
Worley Harper is a famous and very popular musician in the Coalition. More specifically he’s a crooner. His performance at the Winter Solstice Festival on Boulder Island is an annual event going back almost a decade.
Worley Harper wasn’t the name his parents gave him at birth, it’s the stage name he took when he first started performing as a crooner. A few years later turned it into his legal name. His original name was Harley Williamson. When he and four others formed Crushed Velvet, their manager insisted that he should use his middle name, Calvin, instead. To his fans he was always Calvin Williamson.
He has many properties on different planets, but he mostly lives in his house on Dionysos, on a small island in The Maenads, on the far side of planet from Semele City.

He was always a good singer, and with his good looks he was popular both in school and when he turned 15 and went through his Age of Consent Ritual.
At age 16 a trick he turned was a producer at Euterpe Recording Company and the producer heard him singing in the shower. Soon the producer gathered four more boys who were good looking and could sing and dance and so the boy band Crushed Velvet was formed.
Crushed Velvet quickly became controversial when it turned out the producer embedded the Ear Worm Virus in all the tracks of their second and third albums, and tragedy as four out of five band members died at the combined release party for the third album and orgy. Many suspected him, as the sole survivor, to have murdered his friends. It turned out to be the producer, trying to cover his tracks by slipping a medication in their drinks that caused long lasting erections, but when used with poppers it also caused cardiac arrest, and the band was known for using a lot of poppers at their orgies. Worley was saved by accidentally knocking out his drink before he consumed the medication.

History
They stood next to each other in Adonis Lane and found each other attractive, but only exchanged some shy small talk, until they started performing in the street with song and dance. Then they fell in love with each other. They became the core of Crushed Velvet, and would have gotten engaged, if the manager hadn’t insisted all band members remained officially single. After Eric died Worley stayed single and never really looked for new companionship.
