Redemption

This adventure happens directly after Dust and Ash

While awaiting the Tribunal's (mostly Myrr's) judgment on their actions, Tribunii Leeds appears and orders them to follow her. They take a circuitous route through the HQ, with Leeds tapping on her wrist-mounted Savant while she sways through the corridors. They end up in an extension to the Hangar, at a hidden docking bay with a small tramp freighter. Tribunii Leeds tells them that the freighter is theirs, and hands them a datastick, saying that it contains their mission briefing. Their personal gear is loaded, and the ship has auto-evade and stealth flight protocols loaded on an AI stick as they start it up, the memstick takes over and they begin leaving. As they are leaving they witness Tribunii Leeds in a firefight with Tribunii Jalatai, but its too late to interfere.

They take off, leaving Mecatol Rex. They do not regain control until after they break gravity. At that point, they gain access to the ship's systems and can see the contents of the Mysterious Datastick. It contains several Keleres Alerts in the vicinity that were not digitally transmitted to other teams - they're not even fully filled out.

More concerning is the conclusion that these reports could indicate if they are linked: Well-armed and equipped pirates based on Alio Prima; Suspicious traders and possible money laundering in the Rigel System; Gunrunners making trouble on Ba'kal; and reports from several spaceports owned by different factions missing ships.

Plot points/Scenes

This is an adventure with three teams dealing with three separate missions. Each team will need recovery time before heading out again, so each character can only be used once.

Pirates!

Alio Prima has been at the epicenter of a rash of pirate attacks. While the alert says not to engage, the Cohort believes they cannot call for help either.

Salted & Peppered

Ba'kal is a world simmering in its own mix of misery and unrecognized labor. Recently a group of gunrunners have set up shop in the city of Stormshell and are making lives worse for many of the miner's families. Pleas have so far gone unnoticed because Ba'kal isn't a great power, just a minor industrial world. But this planet, this group of gunrunners is who have been providing arms for the pirates.

All about the Aurii

Someone is rerouting funds from many companies in the Rigel System.

Ship-Shape

Ships are disappearing from spacedocks just before deployment. But who has that kind of power?

Relations

Neutrals/Bystanders

There are many concerned and desperate citizens on the planets the cohort will visit.

Adversaries

There are Pirates (and nasty mercs that use the same profile) in each mission.

Pirate Raider

Minion

Although piracy is impossible when a ship is traveling at superluminal velocities, all ships must slow down before approaching a gravity well (such as a planet). At this point, pirates can strike an unwary vessel. Pirates come from nearly every species and culture, though they all tend to share a certain ruthless desperation.
