Noble Alliance Army
The Noble Alliance Army is the standing army of the Advocate-Kingdom of Akkon. Founded by Hyron the Martyr at the onset of the Umbral Deluge, the NAA is comprehended by royal and regional units who answer to the Alliance Marshal in Erish, who in turn answers to the King and High Judge of the Radiant Throne. Most of the NAA's forces are salaried by Akkon's treasury, but some remain under the patronage of the nobility.
As the only standing army in Kartia, the NAA has a prominent function in Akkon's foreign policy, especially towards the Helvatian clans, who are obliged to pay tribute every six months, the so-called Exaction. Despite them being nominal vassals under the Advocate-Kingdom, thousands of NAA soldiers are sent to ensure that the Exaction is paid, and it is not always a peaceful affair.
All NAA soldiers are provisioned plate armour, one healing potion, and a weapon suited to their role.
